Description
An evening neighbourhood walk leads to a chance capture - when both nature and timing reward the photographer. As we were walking down a street at dusk, a Eastern Screech owl flew towards a small tree at the corner intersection. It perched itself on a brand. Camera with me, I photographed the owl just as a city bus went by in the background. It's rear lights backlit the owl by creating a soft colourful glow, illuminating the subject. To me - this picture is a combo of urban nights and city lights playing as one.
